There’s no error code. It just says “Error updating thumbnail” but then the thumbnail IS updated.
Hmm, we have heard of this problem in the past but it should now be fixed if using the latest version of NextGen Gallery.
Can we ask you to manually re-install NextGen plugin by deactivating, removing, and then installing it new? The manual plugin re-installation will not affect your galleries or settings.
Deactivated plugin, deleted, downloaded, installed and activated new plugin. Attempts to Recover from backup: “A failure occurred” “Unexpected Error” on every photo. Same results.
Having another issue. After I added a number of photos to a gallery and sorted them based on file name I wanted to add some more photos. The file names followed the same format but when they were added a number was added in front of the filename, resulting in not being able to resort the gallery by file name. There does not appear to be any way to edit the file names assigned.
I have just moved my hosting which may or may not have something to do with this, but now many of my galleries are gone! When I click to restore from backup all I get is “Unexpected error”.
Even on the galleries that show all the photos the page just returns “Not a valid template”.
Appreciate any help.
