# Error updating plugins

 * Hey everyone – getting the following error when trying to update any plugins 
   or themes:
 * > Download failed. Destination directory for file streaming does not exist or
   > is not writable.
 * We’ve tried the following:
    - Making sure the FTP Quota was not exceeded
    - Checked to see if file permissions were accurate for all of the wordpress 
      directories.
    - Made sure the FTP credentials were accurate.
    - Cdefine(‘WP_TEMP_DIR’, ABSPATH . ‘wp-content/’); was already added
    - Setup a temporary folder for uploading and updating and it exists
