# error updating NextGen gallery plugin

 * Hello. Trying to update NextGEN Gallery from Version 2.0.66.37 to 2.2.1. I also
   have NextGEN Plus which is up to date at Version 1.1.3. When trying to update
   nextgen gallery I get an error:
 * “Could not create directory.”
 * The website is [http://www.jdesciose.com](http://www.jdesciose.com)
 * Any ideas on what to do? Thanks!

   or folder permissions given the version you are trying to update from, please
   check to insure your files and folders within the `/wp-content/` folder are correctly
   inheriting its default file and folder permissions (0644 and 0755 respectively
   or their equivalents).

 * so I checked and all folders are 0755 and all files are 0644. Any other possible
   reason?

 * Thanks! I now have a fatal error and can’t access website:
 * Fatal error: Call to undefined method C_Component_Registry::is_module_loaded()
   in /home/jdesc3/public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery-plus/ngg-plus.
   php on line 146
 * I just reported the bug with good detailed info for you. can you please take 
   a look asap as my website is now down and I don’t have access to wp-admin
