Error updating from 3.11 to 3.12 (5 posts)

    Error updating from 3.11 to 3.12
    No plugins installed , was a clean install and worked perfect for 2 weeks
    Only 100 post just setting it up to get ready to install Genesis
    this is the error i got
    Have not seen this on any other i do - they all updated perfect on other servers
    Any help Thanks

    Looks like your hosts changed the server configuration. Try asking them about this.

    i sort of was looking into that had another php error on another List set up, off to harass them

    Just letting you know what the issue we found after talking to Sever hosting teckie
    this is what i was told and it is now fixed
    The touch() function is disabled by default on shared Php servers. That function basically allows Php to change the creation date/time of files uploaded or on the server. Generally there is no reason to need this function and hackers that might have gained access to a site sometimes use it to mask the date/time of scripts they upload. Makes it very difficult to perform forensic analysis in those cases. WordPress did not require this function before…curious to know if this is something they’ve changed. I will enable this function on the new server we will move you to.
    If there was a change would be good to know
