 * recently been having trouble with updating this website and there seems to be
   a problem with it.
 * any ideas on rectifying it

 * I would suggest you deactivate Health Check plugin once and try updating the 
   Website.

 * disabled health check and there doesn’t appear to be ay updates availabe

 * Hello,
 * The error you shared in your first post belonged to Health Check plugin, so I
   suggest to deactivate that or remove that plugin and try once.
 * If you are still facing the issue,I would suggest you to check error logs if 
   that can help.
