Have just stumbled upon an issue and can replicate it. It only happens when applying a discount code to the basket and trying to check out with PayPal

    Product Price: 399.00
    Discount Code: 5% off

Proceed to checkout and select PayPal payment, the popup box opens (where it would redirect to PayPal logins), then closes with the following error

[UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-ITEM_TOTAL_MISMATCH

    Hello @outrankjames

thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
I just tried to recreate the issue you described but was unable to reproduce it. In order to further investigate this issue, it would probably be good to get more details from your setup, as the system report.
If you don’t feel comfortable providing these details on this forum, you could also open a service desk ticket with us via these instructions: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/

Let me know how you would like to proceed.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hey @joostvandevijver

    To recreate the same issue

Add this product to basket (only) https://www.onlyoakfurniture.co.uk/product/newark-150cm-oak-dining-table/

Go through to the checkout, and add the discount code SF5

    Accept the T&C’s
Try placing the order with PayPal – You’ll receive the error.

I’m assuming this is a rounding issue with the data sent to PayPal.

    Hello @outrankjames

I was able to recreate the error on your page, but I would like to have an idea what plugins you are using. My first guess is that this is caused by a conflict with another plugin.

Can you provide me with the active plugin list or open a support ticket to provide these details if you rather not share this openly?

    Thank you.

    Hi Joost,

We got this on a standard WooCommerce install too – basic theme and nothing else running apart from Woocommerce.

It seems that it may be a rounding issue with, there is 1p difference between what the website states and what is sent to PayPal.

Only happens when a percentage discount code is applied to the basket.

Previously there was an option to not send cart details across to PayPal on other PayPal plugins, but seems that this isn’t an option anymore on this PayPal gateway.
