I have installed Chinese (and the Anspress plugin) and tested, but everything is still working fine for me – https://prnt.sc/j01x82

It does appear to be a conflict with another plugin or your theme though.
Can you try disabling all other plugins and switching to a different theme to see if this fixes the issue?
If it does, you can try enabling them one by one to see which one is causing the issue.
