Error – Undefined Function Please help

    I am trying to use my own template to use wordpress news and I followed a tutorial to get it going. Now I get this error..

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_permalink() in /home/josssto/public_html/index.php on line 11

    the url is http://joss-stone.fan-sites.org if that helps.

    Please could anyone offer help I have checked the forums but can’t seem to find my specific problem. Thanks.

    Whenever you have “undefined function” error – it means your WP files were not uploaded completely or got corrupted…
    or you are using a WP function OUTSIDE of the WP installation.
