Error to able proc_open()

    Hi,
    I installed the plugin (3.6.1) on WordPress 4.5.3 , but when I active it, I get the following error: Warning: proc_open() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/ct1w12qw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/backupwordpress/vendor/symfony/process/Process.php on line 290.

    How can I resolve?

    Hi there –

    Unfortunately ‘proc_open’ is one of the functions we need to backup files. The error should only come up if the other option for files backup (the Unix Zip Command) isn’t available.

    Are you able to still run a backup, despite the error? Let me know and if needed, I can let you know all the needed functions and you can run them by your host.
