    Hello

    Last night I was updating plugins and making freeing up disk space at http://www.professorshouse.com when i ran into a problem.

    After updating I get the following error above my header –

    Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use
    __construct()
    instead. in /home/serverprofessors/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3457

    How can I fix this problem?

    Thank you,
    David

    One of your plugins is likely in need of some attention from its developer. Visit this page and scroll down to Known Issues – WP_Widget Error.

    Thanks for your input. I ended up hiring a guy on fiver to fix the issue as it was killing my traffic.

    Great! Glad you worked it out. Please mark this as resolved if you don’t mind.

    It worked out… but the darn plugin cost me $60 to get a programmer to fix the problem… and more due to lost revenue.

    Sounds like the $60 stopped the revenue leak. Cheaper than a plumber. 😉
