ERROR testimonials_widget_shortcode_replacement_6 when doing echo do_shortcode

    When I try to do

    echo do_shortcode(‘[testimonials_widget id=”6″]’);

    in a theme file it only outputs the text

    testimonials_widget_shortcode_replacement_6

    instead of the normal widget output that appears when I add the shortcode to a page or post.

    Any ideas?

    @lydia_b I am really sorry for the delay in response. From where did you get this shortcode? We don’t have this shortcode and instead of this you can use echo do_shortcode('[testimonials]'); or to check more shortcode you can use this shortcode in your theme template file echo do_shortcode('[testimonials_examples]'); or in WP page [testimonials_examples]

    Lastly, are you positive you are using https://wordpress.org/plugins/testimonials-widget/ plugin?
