    Hey,

I was testing the plugin and it worked a while. Now it hasn’t updated the posts for a few weeks. It asked again to regenerate a token, so I did. Then I saw that there was no FB page selected in the options. When I chose a page and try to apply or save the error message appears “Something went wrong (trying edit feed).” De- and reactivating the plugin doesn’t help. I updated WordPress to the most rescent version (4.9.8)

    Some help would be great!

    Bes Regards

    Hi Again!

Is it possible to do something in the database, to add the right side, and in that way do the update, like a temporary workaround?

    Hi,

We can suggest to uninstall/install the plugin and try to connect again? After you install the plugin please follow this steps to add the feed:

Log in to Facebook and get access token. Navigate to *Facebook Feed WD > Feeds* page and hit *Log in and get my Access Token* button. Afterwards, press *Continue.*

*Note:* This does not give us permission to manage your Facebook pages, it simply allows the plugin to see the list of the pages you manage and retrieve an *Access Token.*

You will be redirected to Facebook and it will ask you to confirm the login to your account. As soon as this process is finished, Facebook Feed WD plugin will be authenticated and you will be able to start working on your feeds.

    Thanks.

Yeah I thought this was an advice from you that I could try.

I did contact the support-team and I was asked for a teamviewer session in the evening. I guess I rather switch the plugin, since I would have to deal with a lot of privacy policy problems in the agency and in regards of all datas of our customer that is affected by the error.

    Hi guys,

This problem can be solved the following way:

    1. Uninstall the plugin from Facebook Feed WD > Options page. You can do that by following the steps in this video.
    2. Navigate to Plugins page of the website and delete Facebook Feed WD.
    3. Reinstall the plugin and authenticate with your account.

Afterward, you should be able to correctly create your feeds and publish them.

    Cheers!

The final solution from WD Support worked. The key is to Uninstall from the Facebook Feed WD > Options page, not the WordPress Plugin page. Then re-install, re-authorize, re-create your feeds. It’s a huge pain, but it would be a bigger pain to have to find, configure and re-style a new plugin.
