    Hi

I have an error on my update page since running the last update its:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/****/public_html/wp-includes/update.php on line 267

The site seems to be running okay, but I would like to clear this error, can you help me, what should I do?

    Many thanks

    Jo

  • Can you replicate the issue with the default theme Twenty Thirteen?

I have just switched to Twenty Thirteen and the issue remains, the error is only visable in the backend dashboard under the updates section.

Thanks for your super quick reply!

Try updating WordPress using the update option at the dashboard (though it says WP is updated).

Okay I reinstalled 3.7.1 but I am still getting the invalid argument error?

exactly the same error for me.

I have tried re-uploading all the WP 3.7.1 files to make sure they all got there intact… but the error is still showing when I click on the Updates menu tab, even with twentythirteen theme. I also tried deactivating all plugins and got this additional error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/accountname/public_html/wp-includes/update.php:267) in /home/accountname/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 899

    Hope that helps.

    kitka,
    Please start your own thread:

    sqmm,
Try the following steps after switching to a default WordPress theme and turning off all plugins:
Manually update from a fresh download of WordPress except wp-content – do not overwrite but delete wp-admin and wp-includes and replace them with fresh copies.
    – Flush caching plugins, if any, and flush server and/or browser caches
    – Run the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Use FTP or your hosting control panel if you cannot access dashboard.
Backup your site including database so that you can restore in case anything goes wrong.

    Update:

I followed what Krishna suggested and reloaded my wp admin and includes files but the issue remained and I had several errors messages regarding plugins!

I disabled all plugins and enabled one by one, and it has cleared.

    Thanks
