    Good Day….I seem to be having the same problem as a couple other people regarding an error message after signing up. If you visit our website, you will see a signup for an event. After signing up (which works perfectly) the site confirms the sign up but gives a message that there was “Error Sending Email”. After reading the forums about this problem and working with my hosting company, we have determined that the mail server is working (I use Contact Form as well and the emails are working fine). They suggested that I keep researching, and contact you for additional suggestions. I am not using cc:, and have separated the event chair email in the settings panel. Thank you for your help!

    Really not much I can do, since that error message means that the WordPress wp_mail function is returning the error AFTER my plugin hands off all the email info to it. Unless something has changed, and someone can show me differently, I’m formatting all the parameters and headers for the emails the way specified in the WordPress codex, and the vast majority of users are NOT having problems sending emails.

    Try following some suggestions in that thread, such as switching to using SMTP for emails. Beyond that, there is not much more I can do for you as trying to troubleshoot email issues on your server is beyond the level of support I offer for a free plugin. I’m happy to fix my plugin if someone can show me that I’m doing it wrong. But, as already stated, I’m following the guidelines in the WordPress codex and it’s working fine on most servers.
