• I have run into an issue with the plugin. When I first tested it, I was able to add my site’s email address to the list fine. However, since then, every email that’s been registered have been added to the database, but no confirmation email is ever sent.

When I’ve tried other emails of mine, I get the following:

Email Address [Entered Email Address] has been added to our database but an error occurred sending you a confirmation e-mail. Please contact support.

I think this is also happening for every single person who’s trying to sign up for the mailing list. Not sure what’s going on. I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin and returning to default settings, but the same happens.

    Any help/advice?

I just added an e-mail address to my own site and it works fine: “E-mail address xxx@yyy.zzz has been added to our database and a confirmation e-mail has been sent. Please confirm your e-mail address by clicking on the link in the confirmation e-mail.”.

And I have been thinking that the problem could be related to your server not allowing sending e-mails for some reason.

I will be happy to check. You can contact me directly if you want.
