  • Hi there,

    I am running into a strange error, (maybe due to a conflict with the Events Maker plugin that i am using).

    when searching for some keywords it throws an error “Request failed, please check your connection! status 500” (inter, try, home etc).

    the reason i am suspecting this as a conflict with the other plugin is because the data that is retrieved through Ajax is exactly same as the data that i get from the events maker plugin.
    I tried Deactivating that plugin and everything seems to be working fine. since i need both of them can you please help me on this.

    Thank you for your kind words!

    It is very likely that the other plugin is conflicting for some reason. For those keywords the ajax response does not contain the results, but some other event related response code. That should not happen, as ajax handlers are registered based on unique names, so I don’t understand why.

    Anyways, try changing this option under the Performance setting submenu: https://i.imgur.com/fo8wgkS.png

    The plugin then will use a different file to handle the ajax requests, and bypass some plugins – hopefully preventing this issue.

    Like you mentioned, i agree with you that the ajax handlers are based on unique names. this is the first time Ajax handlers gave me a headache, i use it a lot.

    About you suggestion, i did try that but nothing changed. so i guess something else is the problem here and i have no clue.

    Didn’t get time to look further, i will dig deep when i get the chance.

    Unfortunately no didn’t find a solution,
    Right now i am running with the issue.

    Hoping it gets fixed in future updates.
