• Hi
We are having issues with the Wordfence Firewall. The messgae in the error logs is:

“Error reading Wordfence Firewall config data, configuration file could be corrupted or inaccessible….wp-content/wflogs/config.php”

Looking through the logs we also have:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘wfWAFStorageFileException’

We have PHP version 5.10.1 on the server.

I was thinking of uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. What do you think?

Could you advise best way to uninstall and reinstall.

    Rgds

  • Hi PB,
Please try renaming the “wflogs” directory to anything else (“wflogs-backup” for example) then refresh the Firewall Settings page, this should re-create “wflogs” directory again, let me know if you still have this error in the log files after that.

I don’t think the PHP version you mentioned is accurate (I didn’t find it here), but in general it’s highly recommended to upgrade your PHP to version 5.6 or newer as mentioned in the plugin requirements page, you should know that WordPress recommends PHP version 7 or newer as well.

    Thanks.
