I have a similar problem: I now also get the “Error processing checkout. Please try again” message after a purchase, even thought the purchase does to through. This is on any payment option I set( both Stripe or bank transfer payments). * Purchases worked fine at the begining (no Error message) but after I added a few email address as confimation receiverse, and a download purchase database plugin, it stopped working. I removed both of these options to try and diagnose, but it still does present the issue.
