# Error: PHP is not running

 * Error: PHP is not running
 * WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not 
   have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.
 * I have tried going to ftp://ftp.beautyblossom.biz/www.beautyblossom.biz/web/content/
   wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
 * It prompts me to enter my password, which I do, and then it comes up with the
   above error message.
 * I’m using Laughing Squid as my host.
 * Help! !

 * Your web host may need to enable PHP on your server, I would get in contact with
   them and find out what the story is.
 * Another option would be to try and add this code to your .htaccess file in your
   root directory. If there isn’t such a file then create it and upload it.
 *     ```
       AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
       AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php
       ```
   
 * Let us know what you web host says.
