    Thanks for the information!

We’ve had some reports of this, but it should have been fixed in version 1.2.4. I’d like to collect some more information. Can you please let me know the following:

    * Which version of PayPal Powered By Braintree are you using?
    * Which browser are you seeing the issue in?
    * Do you have the same issue in multiple browsers, i.e. Firefox and Chrome?

Perfect, that’s what I was just coming to suggest!

For others who find this thread, make sure that PayPal is enabled on your Braintree account. In the Braintree account there is an “Accept PayPal” option found at Settings > Processing > Accept PayPal. If that doesn’t work, the customer may need to reach out to support@braintreepayments.com to request that PayPal be enabled.

I’m getting this same error when customers try to pay a woocommerce invoice via the order-pay endpoint (eg: https://example.com/checkout/order-pay/21718/?pay_for_order=true&key=order_57c85171a229a) . They see the following error instead of the paypal popup: “Error: PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce. Please try again later or use another means of payment.” I’m sure Paypal is enabled in their Braintree console since they can accept paypal through the normal checkout process. Additionally, I contacted Braintree support yesterday and they report it’s enabled on their end.

I’ve deactivated all plugins besides WooCommerce and PayPal powered by Braintree and switched to the twenty-sixteen theme with the same results.

    Versions:
    Wordpress 4.5.4
    WooCommerce 2.6.4
    Paypal powered by Braintree: 1.2.5
