    When I got to YOAST > Tools and click on the Optimize SEO button, I am getting an error:

    Error parsing the response to JSON.

    the details are simply:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> 
    <html><head> <title>403 Forbidden</title> 
    </head><body> 
    <h1>Forbidden</h1> <p>You don't have permission to access this resource.</p> 
    </body></html>

    Any ideas how I might be able to fix this?

    update:

    I disabled Wordfence, claeared cache, and ran SEO Optimization again, and this time it worked. So that was the issue (wordfrence blocking something). Now, I reactivated Wordfence and everything is OK.
