• BackWPup plugin (pro license) worked until 2 days ago. Now it reports errors on upload to Dropbox. Re-connected to Dropbox, even uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, connected to Dropbox again – same problem. The backup can be found right in place in Dropbox, but the error message keeps reporting problems. The backup file can be downloaded and unzipped without problems. Not sure, if I want to trust this any longer. Backups should not be a worry nowadays.
Support forum was no help at all, mostly telling people to check their wordpress. Im my case, switching to another plugin solved the issue. Seems it’s neither wordpress nor Dropbox…

    Hello @harbran,

My apologies for the issues you are having with the Dropbox connection.
We couldn’t find a support ticket from you, but we of course want to help resolve this issue.
Since support and reviews for BackWPup on this site are only meant for the free version, we would like to hear from you in our own support system for Pro customers.
As mentioned in the forum guidelines, paid plugins cannot be discussed on this site.
You can reach out via this email address: support@backwpup.com
    Thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

That review documents the user’s experience. I did remove the parts about a competitor but aside from this, this is not a support ask.

    Hi @jdembowski,

    Thanks for taking a look!
We were under the impression that support issues for our paid Pro version are not desired to be in this section as per forum guidelines.
Seems like we can discuss it then anyway, much appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas

Pro versions cannot be supported here. At all. 😉 But when a plugin upsells, and yours does, then that invites reviews about that experience here. Like this review.
