I’ve got an issue after updating to version 3.0:
I get an error message. Basically, when I try to add a table from the repository, I get the message: There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin inbox for instruction.
But I don’t receive any emails or messages.
    Please help…

Thank you both for your messages! And thanks again for the detailed information Michael. That was very helpful.

I patched the current version right away. You need to reinstall the plugin as this patch will not be recognized as a plugin update.

    Please follow these steps:
    – Navigate to Settings > WP Data Access > Uninstall
    – Uncheck the checkboxes (delete plugin tables and delete plugin settings)
NOTE If you skip this step you’ll lose your entire repository!
    – Delete the plugin
    – Reinstall the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory

    Sorry for the inconvience! 🙈

    Best regards,
    Peter

    Hi Ptere,

    Thanks. It works ;-).

    Have a nice week-end.

    Michael

Should everyone uninstall/re-install, even if they are not actually experiencing this error? Or is it best to wait for a formal update?
    Regards
    HJR

    Great! 🙂

@howard You only need to update if you want to work with Data Projects. If you are only using the Data Publisher an update is not neccesary.

I wish you all a nice weekend!

    Best regards,
    Peter
