# Error on install.php

 * I get the following error code when I try to view install.php in a web browser:
 * > `Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_wp_error() in /var/www/vhosts/
   > mydomain.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1320`
 * Does anyone have a suggestion ?
 * I found a discussion at [http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3883](http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3883),
   but I am not sure what to do with it.

 * Thanks . Nice to be hated. I used the edit function to edit my place. I think
   I hate this place as well. Nice to know the Open Source community is so pleasant
   and helpful.

 * I do not see your reply to my original post. – other than a link to the original
   version of my post before I edited it. Apparently using the edit function creates
   duplicate posts so if you don’t want duplicate posts , why not delete the edit
   function?
 * I see only one post by myself dispalyed, which is the editied version. The only
   way yhat the unedited version displays is if I click on your link, other than
   that the editing function appears as What you see is what you get, and not to
   be a trick function that creates duplicate versions. I do not know why who ever
   programs your software would set it up so that the moderater sees onne thing 
   and the user sees what they expect to see: ONE Post that has been edited.
