I have just tried creating a new table. I receive this error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /htdocs/CISS/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 1422

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /htdocs/CISS/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php:1422) in /htdocs/CISS/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1179

I tried deleting the same table and received the same error. It does create or delete the table.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This error message is most likely caused by another plugin. The referenced code seems to belong to the management of the admin menu entries. Are you maybe using a plugin for that?

Please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Sixteen? That way, we can find what’s causing this.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Many Thanks for your help with this. It was indeed a admin menu rendering plugin (a function I had written myself (whoops). I was able to go back to the codex and find the correct code (was using admin_init rather than admin_menu).
