That is an error we have not seen before, but rest assured we can get it fixed for you.
Can you enable PeachPay and keep “test mode” on? (this setting can be found in the Payment tab of the PeachPay settings, and customers won’t see PeachPay while it’s in test mode)
This will help our team investigate.
I’ve enabled the plugin and set it to test mode. Happy to see Square is now supported too
Is there any update on this issue @peachpay? The issue is not resolved and as test mode does not work and still shows the quick checkout button to customers it has caused significant disruptions to sales. I’m talking about a $5k drop in usual sales. Loss of revenue I cannot afford!
As test mode does not work and the plugin is broken, I am unwilling to enable it on my site again until the plugin works.
Any progress or response to this ongoing and unresolved sales killing problem other than saying test mode works when it does not would be appreciated
Apologize for the delay. We’ve been busy with many requests through email and have been trying to keep up.
There is one thing about test mode, and that is, if you are logged in to the WordPress site as an admin, it will show up. However, to the shopper who is not logged in as admin, it will not show up.
Can you confirm if this is the case?
Ugh, clearly you are NOT reading my replies or looking at the screenshot sent by my customer clearly! It is visible to the customer in test mode, and as a result it caused my sales to stop while I was waiting for a reply.
Sorry, I just now see that there is also an email thread, and someone else on the team was handling it, causing the confusion here.
I’ll look at the email thread too and see what is wrong. It does indeed seem like the customer is seeing PeachPay when they are not supposed to, and getting the error message of course.
