# Error on checkout

 * Hi there
    I’m having the following error after I add a product to cart and go
   to checkout page:
 * > Content coding error
   >  The page you are trying to view can not be shown because
   > it uses a form of compression invalid or unsupported. Please report the problem
   > to the website owners.
 * I already tried to:
    – disable plugins – create a new checkout page (it works
   when i preview) – Disable all payment methods – Restore a old backup website 
   in a new folder (works!) – Restore the same old backup website in original folder(
   doesn’t work)
 * I don’t know what to do more, please help. Thank You.

 * If you have tried the primary steps (ie disabling plugins)…
 * I would suggest you contact WooCommerce support if it’s an ecommerce plugin problem
   and your webhosting directly if it’s a “folder” problem

 * I could’t find the source of the problem.
    I think that has been in the optimization
   of the site because i detected the problem after changing settings in w3 total
   cache to improve the speed of pages to be accepted in Pagespeed Insights.
 * I recovered a much older backup and solved the problem.
