what does the info box show as the file size?
zero does not really exist, as it failed, but reported success and placed a ghost file that cant be dl.
does this happen every single time you try to backup or is it random? and what does it show as the total size in the system info box?

hmm, what about ‘alternate zip method’ and/or ‘database only backup’, have you tried them?
also, who’s the host?
using alt zip I get this when opening the zip to inspect.
D:\Backups\wpclone_backup_20th_Nov_2015_12-52PM_Mic_LPqylgFn67.zip: Unexpected end of archive
and is incomplete. about 20 – 30 mg shy.
used wpdb to back up failed 0byte file
all my client sites are on hostgator reseller and use your plug
Well wp clone is still not working just did a fresh install and ran the restore …
here is the link and all the links go back to the source site.

When is this going to be fix?
Thanks
check “Backup database only” and leave everything else as they are and do a backup. if it works then the failure is probably due to insufficient resources. and since this is hostgator you should be able to bump the execution time and the memory limit (defaults are 5 minutes and 512MB ram). enter 999 in both those fields and try another backup.
@nu Eranet
if everything goes according to plan, tomorrow.
set time to max and mem and still 0 b file
and
Warning: filesize(): stat failed for /home/mia/public_html/wp-content/uploads/wp-clone/wpclone_backup_21st_Nov_2015_01-38PM_Mic_Q6t3GjYmuU.zip in /home/mia/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/lib/functions.php on line 186
DB alone error 0b
max time and mem + alt zip give a shorted file 30mg shy
note this all worked before the last to updates
does alt zip + db only work? also, how much free space do you have on this account?
Thanks looking forward to the fix. 🙂
sorry I had to revert to older working version on this site as it is live and had to be updated so I had to have a good backup.
