    Hi there,

I’m using your facebook feed on my wordpress page:
    [ redundant link removed ]

On my page I’m using it like this:
    [efb_feed fanpage_url=”https://www.facebook.com/soulfooddelightchor/” layout=”full” image_size=”normal” type=”page” post_by=”me” show_logo=”1″ show_image=”1″ show_like_box=”1″ links_new_tab=”1″ post_number=”10″ post_limit=”10″ cache_unit=”5″ cache_duration=”1″]

Since a couple of days it doesn’t work anymore but I didn’t change anything.
I already updated wordpress and cleared the cache of your plugin. But no success.

Can you please help me with that?

    Greetings

    Hi there,

Hope you guys are doing good today 🙂
First of all, I’m extremely sorry for the inconvenience. Actually, our Facebook App hit the API rate limit and they allow very low rate and unfortunately, our some of the apps get blocked from their recent API changes after Data Sharing controversy. But our some of the Apps are working for you guys to pull data but obviously, there are a lot number of requests being sent to by the Facebook server by our app so it’s getting limit reached.

But don’t worry, I am working day and night to get approve the more apps and fix this issue but I can’t ETA right now Meanwhile you guys can do the following steps to fix this issue.

    1. Create your own Facebook app and use that access token in the access token field of the shortcode which will definitely work smoothly for you because you are the only one using the app for pulling data. How to create an app? Reference -> https://www.codexworld.com/create-facebook-app-id-app-secret/

    2. Wait for some time when you get this error so facebook server deletes the limit reached flag and then clear the cache and refresh the page.

    3. Make sure to use the 2 or 3 months cache duration in that way your data will be saved for a long time and even if the rate limit hit your data will be shown fine.

Thank you so much for using the plugin and I will be very grateful if you guys understand. And soon you will be able to show your feed without any issue.
