ERROR No se permite el registro de nuevos usuarios/user registration not allowed

    Hello. I have installed WordPress in our hosting but, now, does not allow the register of new users. Some days ago it was allowed, I have proof. There are several new users, people who I asked to test the site. However, I have tried now, hoping to release the site to public finally, and there’s no way to do it.

    Appears the message, in Spanish:
    “ERROR: No se permite el registro de nuevos usuarios.”
    That would be “new users registration is not allowed.”

    In General Settings (I don’t know if is the same name in english) is marked the option “any one can register” and “subscriber” as profile by default.

    I installed the plugin “SuperSocializer” and I thought that it could have some conflict, but I disable the plugin, refresh the registration page and continues the same.

    Some ideas, please?

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    -If the above steps do not help, then try discussing with your hosting provider in case some security measures on the server are causing it.

    Yes, I’m sorry. That must be the logical solution to the problem. I hoped there was a simpler solution, but it was difficult. I was tired yesterday, I think that was the reason why I ended up asking for help for which I already suspected the solution. I guess that, the image of me doing all that work made me believe that maybe there was a magic solution, but that’s more a tale than real life, where the solution is, often, to work and work like a bastard well, you know … xD
