What's the URL you entered under Settings | General? Arieljudas seems to have entered htpp instead of http ... always a good idea to check the simple stuff.

"BUG: Error message when you visit a Web page or interact with a Web application in Internet Explorer: "Operation aborted""

[Edit] clarification: The "Bug" reference, is in regard to a quote from Microsoft, and NOT in reference to WordPress.

    Use another browser?...

Firefox, Chrome, Opera, take your pick...

As Clayton pointed out, this is not related to WordPress but to IE.

I found the quick fix for this. On my side it was the Lightbox 2 plugin. Just deactivate it and your site will work fine.

I love the plugin, but it disables IE users not to view your site.

    I hate IE!!!!

    Kind Regards

In regard to the link above.

Why this type of error occurs ?

After researching a lot of time for this error “operation aborted” i came to know that this happens because of Java scripts. IE don’t supports Java scripts so it happens. For more information about this visit here

Sorry but that's simply incorrect... and..

Have you checked your website is working properly in IE ?

Most of the webmasters are using Firefox browser they won’t use IE browser so they won’t check in IE browser so check your site is completable with IE browser because most of the visitors are using IE browser itself.

    Not true..
