# Error – Missing a temporary folder

 * I got the error **Missing a temporary folder** o my website [http://freewordpressthemes.ens.org.in/](http://freewordpressthemes.ens.org.in/)
   when I tried to upload images, etc,. Please help me figure out what the error
   can be and what mush have caused this and how to solve this. Waiting for your
   reply.

 * I read it but it does not suite me.
    Below is that I have and that is the defaulst.
   I use Word press 2.7 **wp-content/uploads** So what is the solution

 * I have the same problem with uploading media. I get the “Missing a Temporary 
   Folder” error message. I also use the default wp-content/uploads to store uploads.
   The problem I have is that there is no folder of that name in the download of
   WordPress 2.8 I got. Do I just add the folder? Or, is there something else.
