# Error: missed schedule

 * When I schedule a post for publishing at a later time it does not publish. The“
   All Posts” list shows under the scheduled time in red the message “Missed schedule.”
   What am I doing wrong?

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from 
   a **fresh** download of WordPress.

 * So it’s not the theme (coz both are acting up), I tried resetting the plugin 
   folder and I tried deactivating all plugins. It happens with ALL POSTS. I just
   recently updated WordPress for one of the sites (it did this before the update
   too) so it’s not that either. Any other ideas?
