I am starting with an absolutely clean install of Wodpress and 2011 Theme. I’m using a child theme created with Child Theme Configurator.

Every change I make with Easy Google Fonts adds a repeat of the pair of error messages set out below. The messages appear above the preview pages if I click on the site menu to look at the changes on another page. I have not saved the changes.

When I change paragraph font to Open Sans I get the following error message in the preview screen:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘font_color’ in /home/partnera123/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-setting.php on line 413

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background_color’ in /home/partnera123/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-setting.php on line 413

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘font_color’ in /home/partnera123/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-setting.php on line 413

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘background_color’ in /home/partnera123/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-setting.php on line 413

  • Hello,

I’m getting the same error message, repeated 12 times above the actual page in cusomize view, with a couple of variations—”font_color” and “background_color”. And the H1 font will not change on the page.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
