Since several days I have these error messages on my WordPress :
Warning: realpath() [function.realpath]: Unable to access /var/www/vhosts/xxxx/httpdocs/wp-admin/admin/admin.php in /var/www/vhosts/xxxx/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1963
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/vhosts/xxxx/httpdocs/wp-includes/functions.php:1963) in /var/www/vhosts/xxxxx/httpdocs/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 865
and I can’t install plugins from within WordPress since it says that it is impossible to create the folder inside wp-content/plugins. I didn’t have these problems before and they occur after I’ve made an automatic update to 2.8.6. I have the following installation :
Plugins : Contact Form 7, Lightbox 2, Regenerate Thumbnails, Scissors, Social Profiles, Spam Karma, Thesis OpenHook, WordTwit, WPML Multilingual CMS, WPtouch iPhone Theme
Ubuntu server 8.04
The strange thing is that realpath seems to look for an “admin” follder in wp-admin and this folder doesn’t exist in my WordPress install
