# Error message when checking for spam comments

 * I just installed this plugin and activated the “check for spam” feature. When
   it came to the end, I got this popup:
    _Server response: Data for validation 
   not set_ Then, this error message appeared: _Cannot load ct\_check\_spam_ I clicked
   the back button and it started over again, with the same end result. It said 
   I had 101 spam comments in over 15000 existing ones. Please advise how to fix
   this so I can view and remove the spam. Thanks! My website is [The Doglady’s Den](http://thedogladysden.com)
