# error message translation does not work

 * Hello,
    I have a problem with the translation of the “This field is required.”
   error message when clicking onto the send-button. I tried to created the desired
   german text “Das Feld ist erforderlich.” directly at the form configuration. 
   Does not work. I tried it with WPML String Translation, but it does not work.
   I also tried to edit the .po /.mo files, but this didn’t work either. I also 
   tried Contact Form 7 Translate Messages Extension and this also doesn’t fix my
   problem. I deactivated other plugins, but nothing. This problem is related to
   all forms on my site. Has anyone an idea how to get the german text error message?

 * Hello Takayuki,
 * we use such an old wp version cause there are some individual customized parts
   that have to be updated first. But no time for this right now.
 * But this problem was still there as this wp version was nearly current. What 
   could be the reason and how can I get the right translated error message?

 * Hello Takayuki,
 * I solved the problem. The reason was an old version of the plugin “Jquery Validation
   For Contact Form 7 (Lite)”. Now it works. Thanks for support.
