Error Message pop up on my website

    Hello there,

    I am trying to use “Widgets on Pages” with “ContestFriend” to put up a contest on a post.
    And I have the following on my website now.

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘text’ in /home/swift027/public_html/wp-content/themes/flatsome/inc/shortcodes/titles_dividers.php on line 20

    May I have some help on it??

    Hi Stan,

    Sorry to hear about this. Are you able to use other widgets ok, or is it all widgets?

    Seems like it might be a conflict with the way the theme handles the Widgets on Pages shortcodes, so I’ll have a look to see if I can replicate the issue in my dev env, too.

    Hey Shipstan, I went to take a look at this and I see that the flatsome is a premium theme so I couldn’t look any further for use with that theme.

    I did try the Twenty Sixteen theme though, and ContestFriend showed just fine using Widgets on Pages.

    I couple of suggestions for you;
    1) You could try using the shortcode that ContestFriend gives you to directly add it to the post, rather than using Widgets on Pages.

    2) If that fails then I suggest you contact the theme devs to see if they can help – and also ping back here as I (or someone else) might have some other ideas.
