So I suppose the connexion with database could be made after all ? Should I ignore this message? Or what should I do ? To do this, open the Wordfence plugin and click **Tools**, then click the **Diagnostics** tab at the top. Look then for the **Connectivity ** tab which you can click to expand and see what your current connectivity status is. * The first 3 entries should been marked green if you are connected to the Wordfence servers properly. I checked the connectivity and one entry is marked red : “wp_remote_post() test to noc1.wordfence.com failed! Response was: cURL error 35: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection to noc1.wordfence.com:443” * When I installed Wordfence, I had no SSL, but I activated it afterwards. Now the site is https. I guess when the scanning was done, they could not connect since there was so SSL then. How should I proceed now ? I will look over your current PHP, cURL, and SSL versions and let you know the best course moving forward. * Often the solution here will be to have your webhost upgrade your PHP version to PHP 7, which will increase your performance and likely solve the OpenSSL issue as well. I explained the problem and they say there’s no restriction on their servers that could block wordfence. So, should I desactivate the plugin, and start instal again ?
