# ERROR message not working

 * Hi, i installed your plugin one year ago and everything was find. But now, the
   error message are not showing when a user try to login but have an error with
   is password or username. So when he try to login but it’s not working, nothing
   is saying that there is a error with something… it’s a big problem actually.

 * Normally when the user fails to login it should see an error notice: “ERROR: 
   Invalid username or email. Lost your password?”

 * Hi,
 * To fix the redirect back to the default WordPress pages first create a Recover
   Password page using the [[wppb-recover-password]](https://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/profile-builder-2/shortcodes/#Creating_a_Recover_Password_page)
   shortcode.
 * Now go to your Login page and use inside the [wppb-login] shortcode the lostpassword_url
   argument like so: [wppb-login lostpassword_url=”www.yoursite.com”].
 * Replace [http://www.yoursite.com](http://www.yoursite.com) with the url of your
   Recover Password page.
 * Let me know if this fixes the issue.
