Error message happening when submitting form
-
Hello,
While I can’t recreate the issue, users are claiming “I got an error message on the website when I pressed submit but then I got a confirmation email”. We’ve updated Divi and it still happens.
Thanks for your help,

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.
Do you have any caching plugin?
If so, could you try to exclude the form page from caching and see if makes any difference?
Best Regards
Patrick FreitasWe have no caching plugin. Both rendering options are unchecked. Any other things I should look out for? Thanks,
Could you export your form, upload it to google drive or dropbox, and share a link in your next reply so that we could check the form on our side?
Kind Regards,
KrisThank you for the URLs,
I am afraid both URLs are not public,

Patrick FreitasOk, it’s public now. Thanks,
Hello @jonathanedwardmann !
I hope you’re doing great today!
I was able to access the files now and test the forms on my test site. I’ve not been able to replicate the issue as well. I’ve tried on an empty site with only Forminator installed and one of the default themes. I’ve also tried various browsers – Safari, Chrome, Firefox. In each case the form has been submitted correctly (you may even have received some notifications).
Maybe you would be able to ask the users who reported the issue:
– which browser they were using
– are they using any browser extensions (Adblock, password managers)
– what was the exact error message they sawKind regards,
PawelNow I have reports that the form is completely blank:
“I use Chrome with Adblock, but disabled it and the pages were still blank. I tried opening the pages in Microsoft Edge and the issue persisted. Finally, I tried opening it from my iPad using both Chrome and Safari and the pages were still blank.”
THanks,
The Adblock shouldn’t cause this issue.
But if you can replicate the problem please click on the right button of mouse > Inspect to open the browser console https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Browser_Console check if there is a JS error.
Also, enable the debug mode following this guide https://wpmudev.com/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/ and check if any log is generated.
Let us know the result you got.
Best Regards
Patrick FreitasHello @jonathanedwardmann ,
We haven’t heard from you for several days now, so it looks like you don’t need our assistance anymore.
Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.
Kind regards
Kasia
