# Error Message During Instillation

 * I’ve been trying to install WordPress onto my site but every time I name the 
   blog and type in my email I get this message:
 * After getting [this message](http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i202/SamStrife/error.png)
   I have no more options and I end up having to leave the page, so there’s no way
   for me to find my password or even access the actual blog 🙁
 * It won’t let me run the instillation again either.
 * Does anyone know how to resolve the issue?

   How can i fix this? I have checked the pass and username, database,.. all correct.
   What else may I should check now?

    thats php telling
   you that the PHP function getmypid has been disabled by your host – get with 
   them and ask them to allow it.

    you have 2 choices
   drop your database tables with phpmyadmin and re-install or change `$table_prefix
   = 'wp_';` to `$table_prefix = 'wp1_';` and run the install again
 * edit – wait, your site is a new install here
