  • @matt Godfrey,

    V2.0 of WordPress Mobile Pack does not use TinyMCE. What version of the plugin are you using? Only when this plugin is enabled you receive the error?

    I can confirm that I have this issue as well. If I disable all plugins except WordPress Mobile Pack, I still have the issue. Once I disable WordPress Mobile Pack, the problem goes away. I am running WordPress Mobile Pack 2.0.1 on WordPress 3.9.1.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Hey Florentina.Opris! I am using Version 2.0.1. I have just shut it down for now but am not happy with the mobile version of my site so I need to figure out a better option.

    @matt Godfrey and @wearefao,

    It is definitely a compatibility issue. Can you tell me when the error occurs? Do you see the problem in the admin area or in the mobile web application?

    This occurs when I click to add a new post. On Chrome, the error is hidden, and you have to use Developer Tools to see it. On IE, it is a modal popup.

    Hi guys,

    We have been trying to get to the bottom of this for the last few days, but no luck so far. It would be great if we can have more info from you because at this point we are not able to replicate this issue.

    What we know so far is that:

    – WP 3.9 uses TinyMCE 4.x as compared to WP 3.8 which uses TinyMCE 3.x (so there was a major TinyMCE update in 3.9)
    – WordPress Mobile Pack doesn’t use the editor at all, but it does load some jquery/javascript code in the admin panel interface
    – Several plugins have reported this error, but I wasn’t able to find one that doesn’t use the editor, they all had some TinyMCE code inside.
    – We have tested with WP 3.9 and 3.9.1, but we couldn’t find anything wrong with the plugin.

    Is it possible for you to test again with SCRIPT_DEBUG enabled ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors)? Please let us know if the error message changes in this case.
