First of – thanks for a great plugin!
I’ve run in to an issue on a site where I’m using this plugin. Itยดs been working before, and I’m not really sure what I’ve changed on the site that could affect this ๐Ÿ™‚

I have 3 notifications setup with the plugin: Password reset mail, new user mail (user) and new user send to admin.

When a new user registers now the site outputs an error on screen.
The emails are sent though, and the user is registered as it should.

    Hi @jzatt,
    Thanks for your message.

I haven’t come across this issue before.
Can you tell me what membership plugins or login altering plugins you have on the site? I suspect it’s one of those.

    Thanks,
    Jack

Turned out that I accidentally had WP_Debug on. Turning that off got the registrations to work again at least ๐Ÿ™‚

But I guess the underlying problem/errors are still there. The active plugins I could think of that could relate to this are:

    – Email Login Auth (https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-login-auth/)
    – Advanced Custom Fields PRO (- extra image field in the registration)

    Hi @jzatt,
    Thanks for clarifying.

I have WP_DEBUG enabled when testing and I haven’t seen these errors before. It’s most likely caused by another plugin somewhere but I’ll make a note of them and investigate regardless.

Hope you enjoy using the plugin.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi @jzatt,
What version of BNFW are you using?

    Thanks,
    Jack

    BNFW version 1.6.3
    WordPress version 4.7.3

    Hi @jzatt,
After some investigation, it seems that you most likely have a plugin or theme that is modifying or overriding the post object in some way which is why you’re seeing this error.

Please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?

    Thanks,
    Jack
