  • I receive an internal server error message whenever I try to add a new image to a gallery. My ISP says this is a WP issue, that things look fine from their end. Here is the message I get:
    Cheatin’ uh?

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Has anyone encountered this after the upgrade to 3.4.1?

  • Hi, you can try:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
