# Error message

 * Hi!
 * I have this error message on my website:
    Warning: Error while sending QUERY 
   packet. PID=45447 in /home/roadtr11/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line
   1858

 * I already contacted my host, but they are unable to solve the problem. Can anyone
   help me?

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/
   themes/` and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force
   the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (
   theme functions can interfere like plugins).

 * So, it sounds like you don’t have a copy of the default theme installed. 😉
 * Do you have access to your Dashboard? If so, go to Appearance -> Themes -> Add
   New, then search for and install the Twenty Sixteen theme. After we’re done with
   this, always keep it around, as it’s bug-free and very handy for troubleshooting.
 * Now that you’re in the Dashboard, we can do the less extreme version of above.
   Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme
   to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
 * If you *don’t* have Dashboard access, then download the Twenty Sixteen theme 
   from [https://wordpress.org/themes/twentysixteen/](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentysixteen/)
   and upload it to the `/wp-content/themes/` directory, then repeat the steps from
   earlier.

 * But how do I reactivate the plugins again? When I try to install the Jetpack 
   again, it says: Installation failed: Could not create directory.

 * You shouldn’t need to reinstall anything. If you deactivated them by changing
   the name of the directory, change it back.

 * K, maybe that was a stupid question 🙂
 * Anyway, I think I have found the culprit, a plugin called WordFence. Do I really
   need it?
