 * Hello,
 * The following error message appears in all my blog posts:
    Warning: Error while
   sending QUERY packet. PID=23923 in /home/roadtr11/public_html/wp-includes/wp-
   db.php on line 1868 Also, in the most recent posts, the like button doesn’t load
   anymore.
 * Can anyone help me?

 * You’ll need to contact your host and tell them you need the max packet size for
   MySQL increased.

 * In the recent past some plugins triggered that message. Along with recommendations
   above try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this
   works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(
   s).

    Concerning the plugins, I have a minimum of plugins
   on my site and I actually need all of them.

 * The only plugin I see is wp-super cache and it is not fully installed.

 * It is actually the Jetpack plugin that is causing all the trouble> I deactivated
   it and the site worked fine. As soon as I reactivated it, the problems were back.
   
   Are there any alternatives for this plugin?

 * One more thing. Change your theme to the default theme and see if Jetpack works.

 * Normally Jetpack works really well so this is strange. Try their support forum,
   [https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack)
   and I know of no alternatives for that plugin.
