 * When I enter the correct password in the password field while logging in to WordPress,
   it gives the following warning. “invalid login details”. However, if I refresh
   the page after receiving this warning, I can access the panel without retyping
   the password. So the entry is taking place. The password is written correctly.
   but I cannot access the panel without refreshing the password or retyping it
   a second time.

 * Deactivate all plugins and then try logging in again. Does it then no longer
   happen? Then one of the plugins was to blame for this strange effect.

 * [@threadi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/threadi/) I will try what you
   said. But I would like to point out in advance that this will not work. I haven’t
   logged into the WordPress panel for 6 months. Then someone wrote spam. I deleted
   them and the password was reset. Could this be due to this?

 * No, that is rather unlikely.
 * However, if you have not been logged in for such a long time, you have certainly
   accumulated a number of updates – both plugins and themes. One of them may also
   have a security vulnerability that has already been exploited and the hack is
   now manifesting itself in this form. So if you are already working on the project,
   you should also carry out a check in this regard. See also:

 * [@threadi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/threadi/) , I actively updated
   everything. But I don’t know what happened in the database. I will follow what
   you said and the link and try to implement it. If it wasn’t for the 7 year old
   domain, I would delete it completely.
