# Error lock after upgrade

 * While trying to update plugin it froze and now I cannot get into the site to 
   lift lock. I did not build site originally I only maintain so cannot go to PHP
   to cancel plugin. HELP

 * Yeah, this is a bummer.
 * Options for you:
 * 1. if you have .ftp access to the site, rename the plugin folder and then try
   to get back into the site.
 * 2. work with the host provider to get .ftp access if you don’t already have it.

 * Thanks I do have ftp but not on this particular site! Not sure who the host provider
   is!! but will keep trying.
