 * Combine JavaScript Files
 * JAVASCRIPT COMBINATION DISABLED
    We have detected that a script is generating
   uniquely named files which results in our combined assets taking up huge amount
   of disk space. Please, exclude any scripts that generate unique JS code per page
   or per visit in order to avoid this from happening again.
 * Could you please let me know what causes this to happen? Once this happened I
   usually just force to combine the js files again. But after a couple of days,
   this would happen again.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Ferror-javascript-combination-disabled%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * The error message is pretty much straight forward. When you’re combining JS files,
   if you have some script that creates different scripts to be loaded per page
   for example or even per page load, this generates endless number of combined
   files.
 * This is why it doesn’t make sense to disable and enable it again. You will only
   get it disabled once they reach a size too big. Plus it seems that you have WP
   Rocket too. I do not advice using this plugin with the SG OPtimizer together
   since duplication of functionality is a bad idea.
 * Disable the JS Combination, check out your scripts and look for unique JS included
   on different pages. Then, simply exclude that JS from the combination with the
   provided functionality. This will solve your problem.

 * Please open separate tickets providing your domain name. There is no such thing
   as *same problem*. The optimization works great, however some plugins don’t play
   nice with it and should be excluded. Those are different for each site. Exclusion
   filters are in the plugin description if you want to do it yourself.

 * Hi Hristo,
 * I think the problem is that what _you _find straightforward and what _general
   users_ find straightforward are two different things. When people claim to have
   the ‘same problem’ and you tell them that there is no such thing as the same
   problem, it means that there is a communication problem.
 * To a customer the ‘problem’ is that they want to switch on Javascript Combination,
   but they get an error message.
 * > We have detected that a script is generating uniquely named files which results

 * To you as a developer, there are many different possibilities why this may be
   happening. To customers/users who see others getting this same message, it is
   simply the same problem.
 * Above you say that “Exclusion filters are in the plugin description if you want
   to do it yourself”. Where exactly? Where might the exceptions be entered? It
   is rather vague. Remember, users are generally not as adept as you are at dealing
   with this stuff. Maybe you could provide a link? An example of how one might
   add an exception when switching on Javascript Combination?
 * I think that Siteground should perhaps put a customer service person between
   the customers and you. That way these ‘problems’ could perhaps by solved by them
   and you could stick to your more complicated tasks.
 * Or maybe you could just point them to the chat? To the other users having problems
   I would heartily recommend that. The woman working in the Siteground chat support
   are incredibly knowledgable and helpful.
 * Best wishes,
 * Jared

 * Jared, each separate thread is troubleshooted and everyone gets help. Thread
   highjacking is against the community rules and does not allow us to properly
   assist people, thus my previous replies.

 * Fair enough. Though it seems obvious to me that your advice is aimed at people
   with a higher level of ability rather than the average user. But community rules
   are community rules so I’ll let it be.
